The ProD&S Label is a brand of the company ESTRADS, certified “Entreprise partenaire de la défense nationale” (partner of national defence) in the Armed Forces ministerial Order of 14 June 2021 (NOR: ARMM2118344A)
Founded in January 2020, ESTRADS is an independent international company that awards labels to armed forces organisations and firms working in the Defence and Security sector. Jean Michel Samoyau, Chief Executive of ESTRADS, has 25 years of career experience in strategy, marketing and communication consulting which have allowed him to gain a firm grasp of all the communications and development challenges of firms of various sizes in several business sectors. His immersion in the Defence world, and in particular his spell at the Institut des Hautes Etudes de Défense Nationale (IHEDN) brought him into contact with the issues encountered in the Defence and Security area. Here, he first followed the 54th session of the Armament and Defence Economics course, before being the committee supervisor for sessions 55 and 56, and finally Communications Director of the IHEDN.
The idea of creating the ProD&S Label came to him when he was conducting his various duties among sector stakeholders in the course of discussions with various alliances, industrial firms in the defence technological and industrial base and senior armed forces officers in management positions.
Detecting the needs of defence and security professionals appeared an obvious strategic and marketing response, leading to the creation of the company ESTRADS and the ProD&S Label to address the various requirements of these firms.
